TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01 – Bandaranaike International Airport – Negombo
Upon your arrival, our Chauffer will pick you at the Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Negombo characteristic fishing town 6 km from the International Airport, and has a fascinating and picturesque beach front.
Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Negombo.
Day 02 –Negombo – Kandy
After the breakfast you will leave for Kandy via Pinnawala. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is a home for more than 80 orphaned and disabled Elephants. Witness the elephant bathing and bottle feeding of baby jumbos at Pinnawala and proceed to Kandy.
Enroute visit a Spice Garden in Mawanella which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Check in at your hotel in Kandy. City Tour in Kandy in the evening. Visit Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic which is the most sacred shrine in Sri Lanka. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.
Day 03 – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya via after breakfast. En-route, visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded.
Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Check in at your hotel and in the evening you are free explore the city on your own. Overnigth stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 04- Nuwara Eliya-Udawalawa
Leave for Udawalawe after breakfast. Stop at Ella Gap and Ravana Ella Falls to break the journey and capture the breath-taking views of the southern part of the country. Continue to Udawalawe and check in at the hotel.
Go for an evening safari in Udawalawe National Park which is famous for large herds of Asian Elephants which could be seen throughout the year. Back at the hotel after the safari. Overnight stay at your hotel in Udawalawe.
Day 05 – Udawalawa-Yala
Breakfast at the hotel. If you are keen, you will be able to go for an early morning safari for the birds. Leave for Yala after breakfast. Check in at your hotel. Go for an evening safari in Yala National Park. The park is famous for the leopards which is largely considered as having the highest density of leopards in the world. The big shots of Yala National Park are Leopards, Sloth Bears and Asian Elephants.

Apart from the big ones, the other animals like deer, sambours, crocodiles, water buffalos, wild boars could be spotted in plenty. Not only for animals, but also for Birds, Yala National Park is a paradise. Back at the hotel in Yala for overnight stay.
Day 06 – Yala-Mirissa
Go for an early morning safari in Yala National Park to spot the ones who missed on previous day. Back at the hotel after the safari and leave for Mirissa.
Visit Galle Dutch Fort which is a UNESCO world Heritage Site which for Built by Portuguese and then renovated during the Dutch Colonial Era. Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mirissa.
Day 07 – Mirissa-Colombo
Leave for Mirissa Fisheries Harbour with a package breakfast. Get on to the boat and start the cruise at 7.00 am in the sea off Mirissa to see the largest mammal on earth in their natural habitat. The south coast of Sri Lanka is one of the very best places to see Blue Whales in the entire world.
Indeed it is almost the best to see both Blue Whales and Sperm Whales together. Not only whales but also Dolphins and sea turtles could be spotted during your cruise. Back at the shore after the cruise and leave for Colombo. Check in at the hotel. Go for a brief shopping tour in Colombo. Back at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 – colombo-Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport to connect with the departure flight depending on the flight schedule.
